FetaZone is an online platform built to bring Ethiopia’s cultural events, tours, and experiences into one searchable, user-friendly destination. Designed from scratch, the project empowers users to find and explore events such as festivals, cultural activities, photography tours, hiking expeditions, and more — all organized by category and discovery filters. It’s more than a directory; it’s a central hub for local experiences, with categories, featured highlights, and tools for event organizers to promote themselves. FetaZone also integrates advertising and promotional placements that allow event creators, venues, and organizers to boost their visibility to thousands of event-goers. This adds a business layer to the platform and creates opportunities for monetization beyond simple listings. This project demonstrates a blend of data-driven frontend interfaces, filterable event systems, and dynamic backend management logic — all delivered in a polished, accessible experience that adapts to users’ interests and context.
